1. About these terms

These terms apply to all quotes, orders and purchases made from Velvet Mel Hair through velvetmelthair.com, email, WhatsApp, Instagram or Facebook. By placing an order you confirm that you have read and accept them. You must be at least 18 years old, or have permission from a parent or guardian.

2. Quotes, orders and acceptance

Prices shown on the website are starting prices and may depend on length, density, lace type, colour and availability. A contract is formed only when we confirm your order in writing and your payment is received. If an item becomes unavailable after payment, we will offer an alternative or a full refund.

3. Pricing and payment

• All prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
• Payment is made through the invoice or payment link we send you (PayPal / card). We never ask for card details by chat or email.
• Import duty, VAT or customs fees are not included — see shipping & delivery.
• Please keep your invoice as your receipt.

4. Product descriptions

We describe hair origin, length, density and lace type as accurately as we can. Natural human hair can vary slightly in wave pattern, colour tone and thickness between bundles, and hair length is measured when the hair is stretched straight. Small variations of this kind are normal and are not defects. Photos and videos are taken in daylight without beauty filters; screens and lighting can make colours look slightly different in real life.

5. Made-to-order items

Custom colour, custom length and custom cap orders are produced specifically for you and cannot be resold easily, which is why they are excluded from the return window once production starts. See returns & refunds.

6. Returns, refunds and cancellation

Governed by our returns & refunds policy, which forms part of these terms.

7. Shipping and risk

Delivery estimates are not guarantees and depend on carriers and customs. Risk passes to you on delivery to the address you gave us. Please give a complete, correct address.

8. Intellectual property

All text, photos, videos and the Velvet Mel Hair name and logo on this site belong to us. You may not reuse our photos or content commercially without written permission. If you send us photos or videos of your unit, you give us permission to repost them with credit; tell us if you would rather we did not.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use this site for fraud, to submit false chargebacks, or to misuse our images or brand. We may refuse or cancel any order where we reasonably suspect fraud or abuse.

10. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profit, or for damage caused by incorrect installation, chemical processing or misuse of the hair. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under mandatory consumer law in your country.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the place where our business is established. Consumer protection rules in your own country of residence still apply where they are mandatory. Before you accept payments at scale, ask a local advisor to confirm the correct legal entity name and jurisdiction wording for your business, and put it here.
